First of all, I want to publicly say thank you to everyone who contacted me after Monday's post. It seriously made me cry (several times) to have such love and support come my way. Unfortunately the nature of the beast that is bipolar is that this happens and even though I'm cognizant that how I feel is more about my brain not making the proper connections than my actual life being crappy, when crappy things happen on top of it, it's rough.
But thank you, for riding this ride with me, for not writing me off because I'm not sunshine and roses.
YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.
Honestly, I wasn't going to do NaBloPoMo this month. I was seriously considering taking a hiatus from the blogs and doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and working on my book (it's not a novel, obvi, but still) but then I read something on BlogHer about how if you do it you could win a pass to BlogHer '14, which is in San Jose, CA next and you know, expensive as hell for me to try and make.
New York? No problem. Chicago? Awesome, fabulous, love it. California? Goddamnit.
I've signed up on BlogHer as well as on a grid that reminds me more of the original NaBloPoMo on Yeah Write and so, yeah.
The only time I made this successful (and I won more stickers than I STILL know what do do with and I have small children) I followed a whole series of prompts. I'm going to try not to do that this time, but I'm only human and so every once in a while, that may happen. Or, you know, if you have questions about things you want to know about me or my opinion on or whatever, leave 'em in a comment or shoot them over in an email/tweet/FB message and I'll oblige.
So, brace yourselves. It's on.
