I apologize to people who saw this on Facebook yesterday when it posted and I promptly blew up everyone's feed with it. I'm just absolutely flabbergasted and verklepmt by these photos. As I was saying to Jacque on Twitter earlier, I know that it's my family because I was there and remember things like Tova falling face first off the red couch and Kiedis being manic and my brother being there to help move the furniture from our house to this location seriously two blocks from my house but I look at these and I'm just like, SURELY WE DO NOT LOOK LIKE THIS AND THIS IS NOT OUR LIVES.
But leave it to Jacque to open my eyes to everything I forget to see between diaper changes and paychecks and house projects and the minutiae of what seems like such an ordinary life.
Which is that every life is extraordinary in its own way.
Including mine. (And yes, yours too.)
Have a great weekend out there.
